OUT LOUD Responds to COVID-19
"Back in March, along with countless other collaboratives, OUT LOUD made the call to postpone all current in-person programming in a collective effort to keep our ensemble and our extended community safe. While so much has changed since this initial decision was made, supporting health care workers, essential employees, and all those on the front lines who have been impacted by this global health crisis, continues to be our top priority. OUT LOUD will not resume ANY form of in-person programing until it is definitively safe to do so. Our collective focus and energy will continue to be rooted in the safety and the wellbeing of our collaborators, providing new avenues to stay connected and creative as we all weather this storm. Stay safe. Stay home. Stay tuned."

Silence is deafening. As artists and as human beings we have a responsibility to show up for one another in any way that we can and use any/all platforms we have access to to be as loud as possible in the face of injustice. Now is the time to show our support for movements and organizations that are holding space for those who are suffering. We have to listen. To advocate. To donate. To show up. To educate and hold ourselves and our organizations accountable. We all have work to do, @outloudtheatre included. We can - and will continue to - do more. OUT LOUD is dedicated to creating a safe space for artists to create, collaborate, and build community together as we explore and share our collaborative work as an ensemble. These principles are not possible without standing up and speaking out, showing our support and confirming our commitment to combating and denouncing white supremacy, racism, and bigotry. Resources will continue to be posted and shared through our social media platforms. Learn more by visiting @mnfreedomfund @reclaimtheblock @blackvisionscollective @blklivesmatter
