S7: MORTALS & MONSTERS
From psychological frights, to classic monster lore, to musical creature feature camp - OUT LOUD Theatre announces a Season of horror.
SEASON 4 (2016)
Season 4: Free for All in 2016 was an entirely FREE season that utilized an all encompassing "free for all" mentality. It was 'created, conceptualized, and experienced all for FREE.' All productions were taken from the public domain, adapted and stripped down to their most basic forms. They were all performed in free and open spaces, with donated materials, all entirely free and open to the public to experience.
SEASON 5 (2017)
Season 5: That Way Madness Lies in 2017 explored our concept of madness, the mind, and individual mental health. This exploration featured OUT LOUD's longest running production, Marat/Sade, their yearlong endeavor, The Yellow Wallpaper: A 4-Part Immersive Experience (Ritual, Light, Color, & Escape) and their critically acclaimed adaptation of King Lear.
SESON 6 (2018)
Season 6: Seeing is Believing in 2018 focused on our individual and collective experiences of “reality” vs “unreality”. This Season brought an ensemble of over 30 artists together for a 6-month period (January - June) to collectively create 3 drastically different & original that rehearsed, teched, and then ran in rep.
