Alan Hawkridge is a multidisciplinary visual artist with over 60 years of artistic experience! "ART 4 ALL" is an exciting new chapter for Alan as he welcomes collaborators of ALL AGES & ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE into the classroom to learn and create together! Alan runs THE ALBERT T. HAWKRIDGE ART GALLERY through The Hawkridge Center for the Arts in Pawtucket, RI along with his wife (Patricia Hawkridge - La Voce: Theatre that Speaks)  and his daughter (Kira Hawkridge - OUT LOUD Theatre). 

Alan believes that the arts are 4 everyone! 

Join Alan Hawkridge @ The Hawkridge Center for the Arts this Fall with "ART 4 ALL"! 

4 Sessions of Art Classes - $30 per class OR all 4 classes for $100

Alan will be leading each session focusing on a different skillset / visual art medium!
Doodling, Collage, Acrylic, and Encaustic!

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH VISUAL ART IS REQUIRED! 
All ages & levels of experience are welcomed and encouraged to participate!

FAQ 

Do I need to bring my own art materials?
All art materials needed will be provided during each class sessions.

Are all ages able to participate? 
All ages 6 and up are welcome to participate! Please note that while all ages are welcome to participate, any participants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the full duration of the class. Pick ups and drop offs are not offered at this time. In this instance, both parties may participate for the price of one admission - ie: $30 a session or 4 for $100. Please indicate in the comment section of the sign up form if you will be accompanying a participant under the age of 18.  

How do I Sign Up?
Sign ups can be found above. The forms include your NAME, EMAIL, and asks for you to select which class sessions you would like to sign up for. Sign ups for each individual class sessions will be open until a week prior to each class date - ie: the Saturday before. This is to allow ample time to prepare art materials for each individual group. If you are interested in participating in all 4 class sessions for $100, you must sign up by or before SEPTEMBER 6TH. 

Once I Sign Up, will I receive a confirmation email?
Yes! Once you sign up you can expect to receive a confirmation email from [email protected]. Please allow for up to 48 hours to receive your confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email within that time frame, please feel free to reach out directly to the provided email and we will be in touch ASAP. 

How do I pay for my class sessions?
All payments can be made by cash, check, or venmo on the day of your class session OR if you are participating in all 4, by or before the final class session on 10/11/25. A venmo code will be available for you to access on site. Checks can be made out to "ALAN HAWKRIDGE". 

Will the space / classroom environment be accessible?
Yes! There are handicap accessible parking spaces in our parking lot, a ramp to access the main entrance, and an elevator to provide access to our 3rd floor studio space. Our studio is equipped with accessible / handicap accessible seating and we are more than happy to work one on one to address and meet any additional access needs for you to be able to participate fully in the class. Please feel free to indicate in the comment section of the sign up form if you have any additional access needs so we can work to meet the needs of each participant.

Kira Hawkridge's, OUT LOUD Theatre, Pat Hawkridge's, La Voce: Theatre That Speaks, and Alan Hawkridge's, Albert T. Hawkridge Art Gallery will now be located @ 545 Pawtucket Ave in Pawtucket, RI - coming together to form THE HAWKRIDGE CENTER FOR THE ARTS."​

The Albert T. Hawkridge Art Gallery is named for Hawkridge Center for the Art's Co-Founder, Alan Hawkridge's, late Father -Albert "Bert" Hawkridge. "My Dad , like me, always thought he would be an Artist when he left school, but he had to take a "safe" job and he spent most of his life working on the British Railways in the incredible responsible position as railway signalman. I miss him greatly and know he would be so proud to have his name on this gallery space."
